Heidi Steele’s passion in real estate is to guide her clients to exactly where they need to be - a skill that she has cultivated throughout her career. From pricing, to house ready-ness, to developing a marketing strategy, to finding the right buyer, Heidi has consistently proven her ability to negotiate a strong sales contract and manage a smooth transaction resulting in a successful sale.
Having designed her own home in Hope and serving as General Contractor while it was being built, Heidi understands the bones of a house and how to work with the structure and materials to create a home. She is able to help Buyers see a space and envision it as their own.
Heidi spent 25 years honing her skills as a manager and marketing executive in the corporate and non-profit worlds before seizing the opportunity to become a full-time real estate broker in 2008. An MBA degree from Case Western Reserve University, combined with her art and design background including a BFA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, give her the perfect balance to be able to negotiate the two sides of a sale or purchase with both creativity and professionalism.
Heidi and her husband, Ted, put down their own roots in Mid-Coast Maine almost 30 years ago. They each have fulfilling careers, the pride of raising two successful sons and the joy of living in a home that is just right for their lives. Heidi is also an accomplished community volunteer, having been strongly involved in her sons' schools and serving on the Boards of Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Friends of CSD, Partners for Enrichment and Down East Singers. When she’s not working, no matter the season, you can find Heidi on the water, on the trails or on the slopes.
